We all want to have clear beautiful skin. So when my favorite author and blogger, Jennifer L. Scott raved about her new favorite facial cleanser, Kensington Apothecary’s Rose Oil Cleanser, I knew I wanted to try it. To be honest, though, I was not convinced that it would work for me. I’ve always considered my skin to be more of the “combination” type. Some parts are oily and others are dry. And this cleanser is made of rose oil. Oil? How could oil actually cleanse my skin and not leave it feeling dirty and, well, oily?
After using this cleanser for the past six months, I find myself echoing Jennifer L. Scott’s rave review. Not only does this cleanser smell of roses and soft perfume, unlike other harsh chemical cleansers, but it removes all of my makeup and leaves my skin clean and refreshed. To use, pump rose oil once or twice onto clean hands. Next, massage in a circular motion all over your face. Then, using a clean washcloth, dampen it with warm water and gently remove the cleanser and makeup from your face.
I promise, this cleanser delicately removes eye makeup and all the dirt and grime you want removed from your skin before you go to bed. You will be surprised when you see your washcloth, afterwards! Better yet, your skin will not feel oily, but will feel clean and hydrated.
