I don’t know about you, but I’m weary of grown folks misbehaving. I’m plumb tuckered out by adults who act more like children than children.
I’ve been accused of over-simplifying things that are innately complex, but I truly believe we make life so much harder than it needs to be. It’s really not that complicated. We don’t need anyone to tell us right from wrong. We already know.
Even extraterrestrials know.
We can search the world for theories, philosophies, models, and manifestos, but maybe we just need a reminder from someone who doesn’t look like any of us. Someone who doesn’t come from the same place as any of us. Someone who was alienated but rescued by the innocence of friendship and love.
Someone who, in a timeless and universal story, taught us a lovely lesson about simply being good.
