Has a classic fall mum made it to your front porch yet? This yellow beauty sits on my neighbor’s door step, welcoming guests and the new season.
I do wonder how spring annuals know the calendar has turned to September. On what had to be the hottest day of the year, Mike and I plucked tired impatiens and geraniums from their beds and pots and replaced them with a few fresh mums. I made a plea for them to last through October, and while I was at it, wished for the crisp fall weather I adore. I know it will arrive, eventually.
We will be back with longer posts beginning Sunday, October 1st. Until then…let’s make every little thing a little more lovely!
