I am a bit of a homebody, and I get great joy caring for our simple house. I spent Monday afternoon washing our windows and French doors inside and out. The results were so stunning, I’m sharing the recipe I used.
For the outside of windows ~ In a bucket, mix 2 gallons hot water, 1/2 bottle of Jet Dry, 4 tablespoons rubbing alcohol, 1/4 cup ammonia, 1/4 cup Cascade dishwasher detergent. Directions ~ Hose down windows, dip a long handled brush/mop in bucket of cleaning solution, and scrub windows. Rinse with hose. On the lower windows, I used a squeegee and a microfiber cloth to dry, but the upstairs windows look almost as great, after just rinsing with the hose.
For the inside of windows ~ I used plain white vinegar and clean/dry microfiber cloths.
